If able, visit and donate to the Crossroads Centre. This is the local rehab clinic in Antigua, founded and funded by Eric Clapton. The Antiguan terrain consists mainly of low lying limestone, and small coral islands. Cricket, followed by cricket, then water sports preside here. However, football and basketball are gaining ground. The cricket fans amongst us, will heardof Gary Sobers, Curtly Ambrose and Viv Richards. Then there are the non locals who live there, like Richard Branson and Oprah Winfrey (but not together!).

Annual Events:- January sees the Rowing Regatta, the Super Yacht and Round the Island races every year. February has more ocean going events with the Valentine Day Regatta at Jolly Harbour mid month, followed by the Royal Ocean Offshore race.
