About Porto/Oporto Airport

As the town either goes by the name of Porto or Oporto, it is best to check both spellings when searching. The IATA code for the airport is OPO. The airport also known by its official name Francisco S Carneiro, is situated close to the northern Portuguese city of Porto.

Car and Bus - The town of Porto is connected to airport via the main highway IC-1 that runs between between Lisbon and Vigo. The Aerobus runs daily between 7:30 and 20:00, journey time to the center of Porto approx. 30 minutes. The bus stops at most of the key hotels, please do check your hotel is on the stop list before boarding.
