About Zagreb & Airport

The airport is serviced by Croatian Airlines which runs a shuttle bus service to and from the airport. Travel time is about thirty minutes. This airport also known as Pleso Airport and is about about 14 kilometers southwest of Zagreb.

If going by train, the central station is is located at Kralj Tomislav square, a five minute stroll from the central city square. From here you can connect with all major European cites. A regular ferry service also connects Croatia to Italy.

A bus service connects the airport to downtown Zagreb and the Zagreb central bus station. Bus service located outside arrivals and runs every 30 minutes between 07:00 and 20:00 daily.

The surrounding countryside is an adventure play ground with historic villages, vineyards, farms and spas waiting to be explored on foot, or by car. Help support the brown bear orphanage by making a visit. It is a rewarding experience and if you time it right, you may see the bears being fed. Amazing views abound, but it is hard to better the view from Traoscan Castle.

The world famous Mimara Museum on Rooseveltov, houses over 4,000 priceless objects, so be careful not to break any!
