Driving from the airport to the Lima city centre is made possible by the Pan-American Highway. En-route you will pass by the beautiful coastlines. Trek the road further and you will get to the Andes.

If you are a bit adventurous, drive through the other main road of Peru which is the Marginal Jungle Highway. It would lead you to the northern jungle of the country that touches the Bolivian border.
