If after something special, such as a jeep, convertible or a minivan (that will seat up to 9 passengers), then please book early, as tend to go quickly.

Amendments to your booking can be made free of charge. Free cancellations are possible, but terms vary on time and supplier.

CDW Excess Reduction & Cover

Like most car hire, there will be CDW (Collision damage Waiver) which is an excess amount of around EUR1,000 (can vary on vehicle size), and this will be held against your credit card, for any possible internal, or external, damage to your vehicle.

To reduce the risk of being charged, you have two options:- (1) reduce the amount (usually to zero), by paying extra insurance on arrival, or (2) take out excess insurance cover from GBP3/day, but the excess amount will still be held against your card.

Excess insurance does also offer other benefits, and either an annual or single trip cover is recommended.
