Albania has Greece to the south and also shares borders with Macedonia, Kosovo and Montenegro. If you were sitting in a hilltop bar, on the east coast of the Greek island of Corfu, you can see Albania on a clear day, or night.

Tirana is the capital, and whose airport you will probably fly into. The city all started with a bakery, a baths and a mosque. It still has a rustic charm about it, but like many a city, has growth problems with traffic. The main area of interest is The Block and is a good place to hang, drink and eat.

One interesting feature, is the cable car you can get to the top of Mount Dajti, that overlooks where you will have just come from.

After securing your vehicle, by paying a small deposit, should you need to make a change, then this can be done without incurring an additional fee. Or, say your trip is cancelled, then no full refunds are possible, but best check you terms and conditions.
